More Flights to the Florida Panhandle - American Airlines Begins Service to ECP

Air service to and from Northwest Florida is getting even more convenient through the efforts of our regional airports in Panama City as well as Destin (Valpariso). This summer, visitors and residents will enjoy more lift to the places they love most.  

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) recently announced the addition of American Airlines serving Panama City Beach. American Airlines will begin daily air service on June 7, 2018 with flights to and from Charlotte Douglas (CLT) and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airports. Located just 35 miles from one of our most popular resorts, Sanctuary at Redfish in Blue Mountain Beach, ECP has also announced additional flight schedules from its current carriers, including Delta and Southwest Airlines.  

In Destin, the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is also adding routes by carriers including Delta Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Allegiant Air, GLO Airlines and Contour Airlines. View the VPS route map for updates.  

In addition, both airports have approved ride sharing services. VPS is served by UBER and ECP is served by UBER and LYFT.
