Real estate sales in Destin, Florida remain strong in the third quarter of 2018. The Emerald Coast Association of Realtors (ECAR) reports real estate closings were up 3.2 percent Okaloosa County and up 11.8 percent in Walton County for the third quarter of 2018. In addition, the average sales price was up 2.1 percent in Okaloosa County and up 48.9 percent in Walton County! Lastly, the ECAR report also shows strong demand for property in the Destin, Miramar Beach and 30A areas with days on the market decreasing 16.3 percent in Okaloosa County and remaining almost flat (only 1.7% increase in days on the market) in Walton County.
