Sales Prices Continue to Climb for Destin Real Estate

As we head into fall, the Newman-Dailey Real Estate team is watching the trends for the Destin Real Estate Market. Real estate sales for condominiums along the Emerald Coast are strong. In fact, the average sales price for condominiums in Destin and Miramar Beach, Florida was up 8% for 2018 (Jan. – Aug) compared to 2017 (Jan-Aug).  


In addition, interest rates remain low, and there is still strong demand by investment buyers. In Destin and Miramar Beach, there is a 12 percent decrease in the number of days a listing is on the market and an 8% decrease in days on the market for condo sales along Scenic Highway 30A in South Walton. Here's a snapshot of the first 8 months of the year as compared to last year:
