Register Farm Honey

Sweet Roots – Register Family Farm Honey

Freeport’s Register Family Farm is a tribute to the power of family, service, and stewardship. Founded in 2013 by Joseph and Elisabeth Register, both proud U.S. Army veterans, the farm has grown into a beacon of sustainable beekeeping. With over 1,500 colonies under their care, the Registers oversee every step of honey production—from hive to jar.

Their specialty is Tupelo honey. Sourced from the nectar derived from the rare Tupelo tree, this golden nectar is cherished for its delicate sweetness and remarkable resistance to crystallization. Beyond honey, the farm crafts beeswax candles, healing balms, and lip care—all reflecting a deep respect for bees and the environment. At Register Family Farm, every product is infused with integrity and respect for the environment. Guests can visit them in Freeport at Register Farm Market, where you can meet the family and explore the wide variety of honey, soaps, and candles that come straight from Register Family Farm, along with fresh produce, locally sourced foods, and their homemade ice cream.
