San Remo

Our stay at San Remo was great as usual. This was the fifth time staying on property and we’ve tried a different unit each stay. All units are very well-maintained with the necessary amenities for a great vacation. we look forward to our next visit.

This was a great location and a wonderful stay for me, my wife and our 2 teenage daughters. Condo was significantly larger than we expected so we didn’t feel crowded. It was a short walk to gulf place with restaurants and shops. We will definitely go back.

Our stay was fantastic! The condo is very nice and balcony is spacious! Easy access to beach and within walking distance to local shops and restaurants. I made a few calls to Newman-Dailey for minor things and every one I spoke to was both helpful and pleasant. Was confused first day we arrived with WiFi but we reset the modem and then it connected. Also the fridge took a few hours to cool down when we first arrived but was working properly the rest of the time. Other than that it was a fantastic stay! Would definitely recommend and would rebook with my family again!!!

This condo was a really great find!! Super easy to access the property and unit-and the host made sure instructions were clear and easily accessible. It’s located in a much calmer area of 30A with mild traffic, which allowed for quick trips to anywhere. My expectations were exceeded and this is definitely bookmarked for a future trip.

Everything was amazing from beginning to end. We decided to extend our stay 2 days and had a wonderful experience with Newman-Dailey. The condo was extremely clean and beautiful. We will stay here again.

It was nice to be able to see the ocean (and pool area) from our patio and the beach was just a short walk away. There was only a small supply of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, & dishwasher detergent, so you need to bring all that yourself. And only salt n pepper for spices, just an FYI. The area was very safe and family friendly. We could easily walk to stores for shopping and restaurants. Bike and golf cart rentals were nearby too. Beautiful sandy beaches and clear turquoise ocean. They gave us free rental for 2 beach chairs and a sun umbrella, that was very nice, however most days it was too windy or over cast and they wouldn't allow us to have the umbrella/chairs. So be sure to have your own with for back up. The pool was heated, we were there beginning of April. At times the pool area got pretty busy and loud, but my younger kids really enjoyed it. Evening swims were enjoyable too, less kids. Hot tub was nice to have.

We have stayed in San Remo many times over the past 15 years. We loved it so much we were married overlooking the fountain in 2011. After 5 nights in SanDestin with our grandson and the craziness of fall break, we escaped the madness and moved to San Remo for the remainder of our trip. Walking out on the beach the very first morning and finding chairs with our name on them led me to post a picture on FB saying “Honey, I’m home!”. We are not tech savvy but no problem, Annette is but a text away and has become a dear caring friend. This is our favorite place on 30A. Thanks for making our memories sweeter.

Amazing condo with amazing views. Everything was clean, kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked, and it was very spacious for our party of 8. We LOVED hanging out on the huge wrap-around deck to have breakfast and enjoy the views. You will have direct access to the private beach. We were worried that coming on a Holiday Weekend, the beaches would be crowded, but surprisingly it was not! We were able to get two chairs and an umbrella as part of our stay but brought some extra as we needed them. This is a very cute town with eateries in walking distance. If you are looking for more action in Destin, it is about a 25-30 minute drive but it's a straight shot. Overall, we had an amazing time and the staff and company was very friendly and responsive!

This was a very cute little condo, perfect size for my husband, baby, and me. The location is awesome. You feel like you have a somewhat private beach and it’s a short walk down. The batteries for the keypad on the front door were running low and the staff replaced them promptly. My only complaint is that the TV barely worked and would freeze or turn off randomly. That wasn’t a huge problem because we weren’t in the condo much anyway.

This was one of our all-time favorite vacations. We loved the beach and the water! Having two free beach chairs and umbrella included was greatly appreciated. Thank you all for doing that and please keep it up! This entire town is wonderful. The most inconvenient part was the time of check-in and the time of check-out. Checking in wasn't allowed until 4pm, even though our condo had already been cleaned. We know it was cleaned already because my husband sat outside in our vehicle from 2pm until right after 4pm and kept checking the door code. No one had either been in, or out of the condo. But we weren't allowed to be in until after 4pm. It seemed ridiculous to keep us out just for the principal of it. And checking out time is really early with getting our whole family out before 9am while in vacation-mode (lol). It was EXTREMELY easy to do the check in/out. That was the easiest/smoothest I've ever experienced, other than just the timing of it. BUT we definitely want to come back each year and would absolutely stay in this exact condo again. The pictures are 100% accurate. We had been dreaming of this vacations for months leading up to it, and it absolutely did NOT disappoint. Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful memories you helped create for our family!!!!

Perfect girls trip. Every year my grandmother, sister and I take a vacation. This year we chose San Remo and we are so glad week did. This cozy piece of paradise was so enjoyable and beautiful. I was very pleased with the location. The unit was a really good floor plan - very spacious both indoors as well as the balcony. Great views of ocean and pool. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils/pans so if you needed them you had plenty to use. Very clean. The only drawback that I saw with the unit was the matress in the master bedroom. While they are certainly not old, they are very firm. Overall, good place to stay with family and friends.

The unit is every bit as nice as described. Everything was clean and well appointed. The beach is a short distance on the boardwalk. Shopping and restaurants are also within walking distance. Management was very helpful when I discovered I left an item in the unit after I checked out. They reactivated the door code so I could recover the item I left behind without a lot hassle. We have been staying at San Remo off and on for over 10 years. In the past couple of years we have been disappointed in the original ideals for the resort changing. I don’t feel these are enough to cause us to change where we stay but we feel we have had to compromise some of what we enjoyed most when first coming to San Remo. 1. No floats in the pool area, pool or hot tub. 2. No towels on the railings 3. No tents on the beach 4. No amplified music on the beach We realize young families require a little more stuff than older couples with no children. All the guests were polite and considerate we simply liked the serenity and tidiness from the years past.

I enjoyed my stay at San Remo 209. The place is furnished very nicely. My only complaint was the carpet in the master bedroom was very dirty and stained. I was surprised that there were zero condiments there too, not even salt and pepper! A few cleaning supplies would of been helpful too.

All of us at Newman-Dailey love this condo and the owner. The owner has replaced the drapes in the living room and bedroom. Currently shopping for a high top table to better fit the patio chairs. This truly is a great 30A vacation rental, you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to your stay!

Another great stay with Newman-Dailey. We only had one issue, and it was dealt with very quickly. Unit 209 is super clean and spacious. The kitchen was loaded with everything we needed. All of the furniture was comfortable, including the mattresses. We spend most of our time on the beach, but the new 65" TV in the living room was fantastic. One thing we really like about this unit is the drapes for the sliding glass door. Some units don't have "real" room darkening drapes for blocking out light when watching TV or napping. All in all a great relaxing week. And of course, we will be back next year.

This condo was perfect for an intimate birthday celebration. This rental is nicely decorated and we enjoyed the large balcony and spectacular sunset! The location along Highway 30A was fantastic and we were in walking distance of the Gulf Place Towne Center and new Shunk Gulley Restaurant. We couldn't have selected a better location for our celebratory weekend. We'll be back!

San Remo 209 was perfect for our family during Thanksgiving holidays! We stayed 8 days. The kitchen was well stocked and the unit is nicely furnished. we stayed in this rental fir my birthday and it was perfect! The large balcony was perfect for gathering for a sunset toast and the large screen TV was perfect for the guys who wanted to watch football. Our kids loved the cute little bunk room and we loved the master with sliding door to the balcony. We'll be back!

We highly recommend San Remo #209. The condo was clean and comfortable, had a great layout, loved the large balcony and fantastic beach access. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes/pots/pans, etc. so it was easy to cook meals for our family. The location of the condo is perfect...away from busy Destin but close to whatever you might need (grocery store, restaurants, etc.) I loved that the beach wasn't super crowded as it was nearer the public beach access points. I found the staff at Newman-Dailey courteous and helpful from beginning to end and I would not hesitate to use them for a vacation rental in the future.

My daughter Amy and her bridesmaids and me came from Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga and stayed at San Remo Condo 209. We had great weather and a great time. When we arrived, they were installing brick pavers around the pool. My girls got a little concerned but with Annette's help, the job was completed by the next morning. The men worked diligently to get it done and it looks very nice. The condo was very clean and check in was a breeze, as well as check out. We will stay here again. Rebecca LeVally

We stayed in San Remo 209 the second week of August. The place was perfect and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Annette, who manages the grounds, was an awesome ambassador for Newman-Dailey. It was red flag at the beach 6 of the 7 days we were there, but it was still nice. Can't wait to come back next year.

We have been coming to San Remo for the past 5 years. We have always enjoyed the Condo accommodations, pool,ocean view and the large beach access. Now with the large home being built between the pool and the ocean the view is 90% gone and the beach availability is only 15% of last years. Very disappointment that the leasing company did not mention the reduction in Ocean view and beach access. The photos still reflect the old ocean view! Over all we still love the Santa Rosa beach.

San Remo #409 was a perfect place for our family (3 teens and mom and dad) The beds were comfy, the view was great, the balcony is HUGE (could seat up to 10 people easily) and the condo is just as the pictures show- very beautifully decorated. Plenty of dishes and accessories in the kitchen. My only suggestion would be to add towels or beach toys so guests wouldn't need to bring them. So many fabulous restaurants in Santa Rosa, Seaside and Destin. Great shopping in those places as well! We didn't rent the bikes, but they are right there for you to rent! The pool and hot tub are awesome, large and well cared for. If you're headed to the beach (gorgeous CLEAN beach, BTW!) , you're only a 2 min walk away. Overall, clean, upscale condo that has everything you need for vacation! (If it rains, there's a dvd player and some games for the family!)

This condo was perfect for our trip away from home. It had everything we needed and more. Only issue we had was a light in the master bath that burned out...lol Other than that everything was great. We dined at the Vue and Goatfeathers. Both were great. We took a trip to the wharf in Sandestin and it was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay!

Loved, loved our family vacation at this beautiful location. Condo #209 was beautifully decorated and perfect for our family of 6 adults. The large covered deck was a huge added benefit as we spent many hours enjoying the view in the shade. Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely beach home.

Loved our stay at San Remo! We probably will be back. Situated right in the middle of 30a activity, shopping, nature trails in the national park, and oh, yeah, there's the beach. Great beach lie on, do nothing on, or swim, walk, sun, etc. But I think we spent more time on the balcony looking at it. A little confusing with all the codes to remember for gates, door, etc, but once you have them down, it's all good. Pool between condo and beach can be occ. noisy with kids, but not very often. Loved seeing a mix of local residents and vacationers like us there. N-D even replaced the DVD player while we were there when it cratered. Thanks for that. O'Neal was a big help also! Thanks again

Really enjoyed the location and ammenities of the building. But the furnishings and some other items were not up to standard. For example, we had only a large spoons. The glasses were not well matched. The furniture was well worn and the decour was old and plain.

The rental property was wonderful. Close to the beach, clean, and nice pool. It was hard to find and map given to me by Newman-Dailey did not have street names so it was useless. I located the property on my phone. It was titled in iPhone map. Thank goodness for the phone.

We were here for a friend's wedding at Santa Rosa Beach. This lovely condo was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 9. Great location! Didn't have to fight the Destin traffic. We did have a problem with the air conditioner one night but Kellie had us up and running quickly. She even offered to move us to another unit if ours did not cool off quickly enough. She was fabulous to work with! Can't wait to visit again.

Our own little paradise. This location is like being on a remote little island. It is so quiet and peaceful. The condo was beautiful and super comfortable. We had plenty of space for everyone. Take a relaxing stroll down the boardwalk right out to the beach or you can enjoy a great day by the pool overlooking the lake and out to the beach. It was definitely our slice of paradise.

Unit could use carpet cleaning, especially in Master BR. Housekeeping needs improvement. Debris on balcony Top of Fridge very dusty Many surfaces wiped, but not cleaned. Still a pleasant experience, would do it again.

September is a wonderful time at the beach. Even though we had rain on one of the three days we were there, the view from our condo was still nice and very relaxing. The condo was nicely decorated with plenty of space. I loved the large balcony where I ate breakfast and lunch and took my naps in the lounge chairs. Although we could not see the Gulf meet the sand, there was a pretty view of the water just across the small lake and over the dunes. The pool was about 25 yards long which was great when my husband did his lap swims. The planked walkway to the beach was short and easy. It had a shower and feet hose for washing off sand and salt. The paved and not paved bike trails gave us an excellent way to see the area and get some exercise. If there was a down, it would have been the numbers to remember at the gates. I do enjoy the keyless entries. Most of the time the gate to the beach were opened but once we were locked out of the walking gate and had to punch in the code to the car gate. Overall it was wondeful.

It was an awesome time to disconnect from the world and reconnect with family. We have stayed in San Remo several years. We love the location, the cleanliness and the other families that we meet. Thank you for your patience with working with us during the oil spill. We only have media coverage to go by. You remained flexible for us to ensure our stay was comfortable, yet you allowed us the opportunity to back out if we wanted to due to the circumstances. I'm so glad we decided to stay.

What a wonderful week filled with family and lots of fun. We met up with family from AL and NY to come to a total of 16 of us in seperate units. We went boogie boarding, built a sand chair, played flash light tag, went crab hunting, strolled around Baytown Wharf and rode the zip line, rented 2 wave runners and pontoon boat, swam around crab island, went to a movie, hunted for sea shells, blew fireworks on the 4th, spent lots of time with family. We loved the 2nd floor view and this unit was perfect for us. A few rain storms earlier in the week gave us a chance to go shopping and watch movies together. Other then that, the weather was beautiful. Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us and we can't wait for next year! The Imualle Family

We had a wonderful time in the lovely San Remo condo - #209. It was the perfect size for us and beautifully decorated with great views of the Gulf and a quiet end unit. A couple of things that need repair or improvement - there was a leak in the northeast corner of the ceiling of the bedroom on the right as you enter the condo. Since it rained heavily while we were there, the leak increased. The blind over one window in the dining area needs to be fixed, and last of all, the biggest problem from our point of view, was the bedroom on the left as you enter the condo. At night the lights outside STREAMED into the room and lit it up like day, making it difficult to sleep. If this was corrected by a blackout drape over the one window in that room it would be terrific.

The condo was immaculate and beautifully decorated. All of the amenities of the San Remo were perfect, creating a very comfortable environment. We look forward to our return!

We really liked the place and our stay was good. Only issue was that though all TV's worked, Non of the remotes worked. Also some remotes were missing. No channel guide, so it was very frustrating to figure out the channels and due to lack of remotes, we need to change channels running up to TV caused lot of grief. I hope you wil address this minor glitch but equally a frustrating issue. Aprat from that place is jsut awesome and looking forward to stay in future.

Despite Tropical Storm Claudette that blew in on our first night and ruined an entire day of our stay the rest of the week was excellent. The condo was clean and beautiful and we loved the remote area away from all the commercial and fast food places. We would definitely stay there again. Maureen Cromeans Spring, Texas

Everything went well. Debbie Scott in reservations and Ryan on the desk were particularly nice. San Remo was nicely situated with a good view of the beach and pool...nice grounds. Location was good and close to where we rented a house last year. There was plenty of space in the condo and it had a very nice, large deck. My only complaint is that you changed the lock code for the front door about 9:30 when check wasn't until 10:00. That could have been a problem if someone hadn't stayed in the condo while I was loading the car! I'd work on that if I were you. Otherwise, a very nice experience. Oh, there was nothing in the condo to identify the TV channels. I got a copy from Ryan when I checked in, but it turned out to be incorrect. What he gave me was probably the one for the Destin area instead of the Santa Rosa area. Also nothing in the condo to indicate which restaurants were in the area. That would have been helpful..you know, menus...something like that. We enjoyed ourselves. Thanks.

1. Newman Dailey was so very helpful in finding the right place for our family's vacation along with staying within our budget. 2. We rented 4 condo's and SF209 was one of them. The View was breath taking, the condo was perfect with plenty of room for all. The balcony was so very nice, plenty of room, always a breeze and over the pool area. 3. The grounds and the pool of San Remo was wonderful for the 23 members of our family to play games, have a cook out and just be together. 4. The location was perfect for children as well as adults. You can stay as busy as you want to be or relax and enjoy the scenery, breeze and quiteness. 5. The free golf,track,dolphin cruise passes was fantastic and that's just one of the reasons why we our family will be returning to San Remo in 2010.

We have been traveling to the Destin area since the early 1980's and this rates as one of the top properties. All dealings with staff were excellent. Property was immaculate and very well designed.The furnishings and internet connection were adequate.Access to the beach was very good for the area as there was a ramp /bridge most of the way as opposed to the usual 3-4 flights of stairs.The cooking utensils were poor and the TV/DVDs (Very Small)were outdated .Need to be updated. Overall I would reccommend to anyone.

It was a great experience. Very relaxing. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it. The staff was great in accomodating our needs. The apartment was very clean. We will certainly return.

This was my first time at the facility. It was a relaxing, calming atmosphere and environment. The accomodations were excellent, the condo was beautiful, and supplied with everything you could need or want. The bedding was comfortable too. The view and location of the unit was excellent. I prefer an end unit, and this unit met all my desired, it was perfect. When I get an opportunity to return or for family to schedule a stay, I will defintaly recommend the complex and this unit. The Rental Agency was attentive to my requsets and needs as well. Thank you for making my time at your complex and in this unit a memorable part of my life.
