Gregg Allman Coming to Santa Rosa Beach, May 28

It is not every day that we get the good fortune to enjoy a live performance by one of the legendary singers of our time. On Wednesday, May 28, Gulf Place will host Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Gregg Allman.

Recognized by Rolling Stone Magazineas one of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time,” Allman will bring his distinctive Southern Rock & Blues sound to fans in a spectacular beachside setting. The outdoor amphitheater and green is the perfect spot to kick back, relax and enjoy all your favorite tunes.  

While Gregg Allman has lots of connections to Florida, including growing up in Daytona Beach and forming the Allman Brothers with his brother Duane in Jacksonville, Fla. years later, this is his first visit to the South Walton and Destin area. We look forward to welcoming him with warm Southern hospitality and enjoying his incredible performance, which we hope includes some of his songs such as "Whipping Post" and "Midnight Rider."
